About Jessica

Jessica Mantell, CEO, LDN, Founder

Jessica Mantell is a Certified Nutrition Specialist and Licensed Dietician/Nutritionist with a background working with endocrinologists and diabetes specialists in clinical settings, she has conducted and participated in research involving nutrition and lifestyle interventions. Jessica was also a nutritionist for the University of Miami Football team.

Jessica is passionate about helping others understand the benefits of eating healthy foods, physical activity, and mindfulness. She believes  that no diet is a one size fits all, and it is possible to enjoy eating every day without the feeling of restriction and anxiety over food- you don’t even need to spend hours in the kitchen. NextGeneration Nutrition was built on providing individualized simple and realistic nutrition programs to help clients feel like their best self. Jessica focuses on client's relationships with food, giving them the necessary tools to create long term healthy habits, and help others lead a happier and healthier life. She offers nutrition and lifestyle counseling for people who struggle with chronic disease, autoimmune disorders, weight management, GI disorders, food sensitivities, general health and wellness, and more.

She earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Psychology, Spanish, and Art History at the University of Miami and her Master's in Science of Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. Jessica has worked with hundreds of clients from all walks of life and says she "learned to create an effective nutrition program that is not only enjoyable but personalized to fit each clients specific and individual needs". NextGeneration Nutrition is located in Miami Florida and works with clients all over the world.

Jessica believes that better health should be accessible to everyone and that we all are able to improve our health through good nutrition, physical activity, and lifestyle change. Jessica does not support setting shame-based goals but encourages embracing our bodies, genetics, and personality. Jessica's philosophy is abandoning the “One Size Fits All” mentality to create a personalized wellness plan based on your biological makeup and your lifestyle. In the last decade, scientists have discovered that our DNA and gut microbiome play a huge role in overall health and wellbeing and should influence our nutrition. As everyone’s makeup is different, it is important to utilize cutting edge technology we have available to discover your body’s specific needs.  She will work closely with you in a holistic manner to create a plan tailored to your individual goals and preferences. Jessica can keep you focused as you progress and be your guide as you work towards becoming a healthier you and achieving results.
