Summer is definitely here! With the warmer weather, it's natural to crave cold and refreshing treats like popsicles!

Here's the WHY behind all of our ingredients:
Strawberries - Strawberries are packed with Vitamin C, antioxidants, polyphenols, and fiber which help to protect you from chronic diseases! This fruit is the highlight of today's recipe as it is in season, sweet juicy, and perfect to make popsicles out of.
Lime: Limes are smaller fruit that contains tons of flavor! Similar to strawberries, they are rich in nutrition as they provide Vitamin C and antioxidants. They can help to boost immunity and prevent illness which is crucial in the times we have been living in.
Maple Syrup: Maple syrup is an unrefined sugar with antioxidants and a lower glycemic index (it won't spike your blood sugar as high when compared to other sources of sugar). Kee
p in mind that while it does provide some health benefits, it is still sugar and should be used mindfully.
Chia Seeds: These powerful seeds contain antioxidants, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and plant-based omega-3 which fights against inflammation. Their ability to gel and thicken (similar to ho
w an egg acts) will give the popsicles a nice consistency and is the reason we are using them in this recipe!
3 cups Strawberries (stems removed)
1 Lime (large, juiced)
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into popsicle molds and freeze for five to six hours or until completely frozen. Enjoy!
